Jim Myers, of Crown Automotive Group, Throws First Pitch For Charity At Rays Game
Crown Automotive Group President and Chief Operating Officer, Jim Myers, board member on behalf of Starting Right, Now, threw out the First Pitch at the Tampa Bay game on July 7, 2019. Jim Myers was selected by the organization to be their spokesperson. He was accompanied during the presentation by a few of the hard-working students from the local Starting Right, Now home.
TAMPA BAY, FL. (July 6, 2019)
Jim Myers, President and Chief Operating Officer of the Crown Automotive Group, threw out the Ceremonial First Pitch on July 7, 2019, prior to the Tampa Bay Rays taking on the New York Yankees. The symbolic pitch was part of an on-field presentation as the Rays Baseball Foundation presented a $40,000 check to the nonprofit organization Starting Right, Now. Rays President Matt Silverman is chairman of Starting Right, Now.
"We're so proud to support Starting Right, Now. It's an honor to help anyway we can in such an important life-changing step forward for these unaccompanied young people. It's a great organization that provides housing, mentoring and resources for homeless youth in our community," said Myers. "I can't think of anything more important than helping kids who have been forced to live in unsafe conditions without the opportunity to succeed. I've witnessed firsthand the drive these teens have to excel, to stay in school, thrive and go to college, and become productive members of our community," Myers added.

To make the evening even more special, the Rays downed their division rivals, the Yankees, 2 to 1 to further close the gap between the leaders of the American League East Division.
$5K Test Drive Winner Announced At Local Crown Dealership
Elizabeth Harris was named the Grand Prize winner of the $5,000 Giveaway from Crown Tennessee this month. Harris is the [second] winner announced this year after test-driving and purchasing a RAM truck.

The [second] winner for 2019 of the $5,000 Giveaway was recently announced on [Tuesday, July 16, 2019]. The event is coordinated between Crown Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM of Chattanooga and Crown Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM of Cleveland.
Elizabeth Harris from Niota accepted the $5,000 grand prize in person with her family at the Crown Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM Cleveland location. She visited Crown Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM of Chattanooga and was selected as the winner after test-driving and purchasing a new RAM pickup. Harris says she and her husband plan to spend the money on a dream vacation to Yellowstone National Park.
Winners are chosen at random from patrons who complete a test drive at either Crown location as part of an ongoing promotion to highlight its tagline "Home of the $5,000 Giveaway." No purchase is necessary to participate.
