Crown Automotive Group Managers Speak at Finance Park Boot Camp for Foster Care Youth

Michal Niezbecki, manager of Crown Eurocars, and Rey Akuffo, manager of Crown Hyundai, recently spoke on the topic of buying a car at the Pinellas Education Foundation’s Finance Park Boot Camp. The program was held through Ready For Life, Inc., an organization aimed at helping foster care youth successfully transition into adulthood.

ST. PETERSBURG, FLORIDA –- Managers from Crown Eurocars and Crown Hyundai, both part of the family-owned Crown Automotive Group, recently spoke at Finance Park Boot Camp, a new program created by the Pinellas Education Foundation for young people involved with Ready For Life, Inc.

Michal Niezbecki of Crown Eurocars and Rey Akuffo of Crown Hyundai were proud to speak on the topic of buying a car as part of the boot camp program, which aims to educate and assist foster care youth ages 16-23 years old with transitioning into adulthood.

The Ready for Life, Inc. nonprofit organization as a whole was created to help foster care youth throughout the Pinellas County community. The Finance Park Boot Camp event, which took place August 1-4, 2014, played host to 35 students who participated in sessions about making good financial choices, communication skills, renting and buying property and more.

On Wednesday, August 3, Niezbecki and Akuffo spoke to the students on the topic of negotiating to purchase or lease a vehicle.

“It was an honor to have been asked to be a part of the Pinellas Education Foundation’s Finance Park Boot Camp program,” said Niezbecki. “We believe it’s important that young people are educated about all facets of buying and leasing a vehicle, and we were more than happy to have the opportunity to help through the Ready For Life, Inc. organization.”

The Crown Automotive Group has strong ties to the Pinellas Education Foundation. Jim Myers, the group’s President and Chief Operating Officer, is also the Chairman of the foundation, and in the past the group has assisted by providing scholarships, time and other resources for local Pinellas County students. Partnerships like these reinforce the Crown Automotive Group’s commitment to the enrichment and development of the entire Pinellas County community.

Crown Eurocars Partners With the Tampa Bay Rowdies to Give Away a Mercedes-Benz C250

As part of the “Score With The Rowdies Sweepstakes,” Crown Eurocars of St. Petersburg has partnered with the Tampa Bay Rowdies professional soccer team to give away a 2014 Mercedes-Benz C250 Sport Sedan to one lucky fan in November.

ST. PETERSBURG, FLORIDA –- In partnership with Crown Eurocars of St. Petersburg, professional soccer team the Tampa Bay Rowdies will be giving away a 2014 Mercedes-Benz C250 Sport Sedan as part of the “Score With The Rowdies Sweepstakes.”

Season ticket holders will receive 100 automatic entries, while non-season tickets holders can earn entries to the sweepstakes through the purchase of season tickets. Entry to the sweepstakes closes on Monday, October 27 at 11:59 p.m. EST.

The winner of the sweepstakes will be randomly selected from all entries, and if present at the November 1 game against the Indy Eleven, will win not just the car but a pair of 2015 Tampa Bay Rowdies season tickets, an autographed jersey and a photo with the team as well.
